Dermal filler treatment in Horbury, Wakefield

Subtle volume, balance and facial harmony — never overdone

Dermal filler can be a powerful tool when used thoughtfully and conservatively.
My approach focuses on restoring balance, supporting facial structure, and enhancing natural features — not changing how you look.

If you’re worried about looking “overfilled” or unnatural, you’re not alone — and you’re exactly the type of patient I work best with.

  • Dermal fillers are injectable treatments, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid, used to:

    • Restore lost volume

    • Improve facial balance

    • Support structure

    • Soften lines and folds

    • Enhance natural features subtly

When used correctly, fillers should look undetectable.

  • Dermal filler may be suitable for:

    • Lips (hydration, shape, subtle enhancement)

    • Cheeks

    • Jawline

    • Chin

    • Nasolabial folds

    • Marionette lines

    • Facial contouring and balance

Treatment choice is always based on your anatomy, not trends.

  • Dermal filler may be right for you if:

    • You want subtle enhancement or restoration

    • You value natural-looking results

    • You want expert guidance, not a sales pitch

    • You are concerned about ageing or facial balance

    • You want results that still look like you

  • Dermal filler may not be appropriate if:

    • You are seeking dramatic or exaggerated results

    • Your concerns would be better treated with other options (e.g. skin or collagen treatments)

    • You are pregnant or breastfeeding

If filler isn’t the right choice, I will always explain why and discuss safer alternatives.

  • This is where experience and judgement matter most.

    My philosophy is:

    • Less is more

    • Structural support before volume

    • Respect for natural facial anatomy

    • Facial harmony over individual features

    • Long-term facial health over short-term trends

    • Combining dermal filler with regenerative treatments or skincare

I often recommend staged treatments, building gradually rather than doing too much at once.

    • Immediate improvement in volume or contour

    • Subtle, balanced enhancement

    • Results that settle and improve naturally over time

    • Longevity varies by area (typically 6–18 months)

The goal is for people to notice you look well — not to notice filler.

  • Your consultation is unhurried and honest.

    We will:

    • Discuss your concerns and goals

    • Assess your facial structure and proportions

    • Decide whether filler is appropriate

    • Discuss realistic outcomes and longevity

    • Create a personalised plan

There is no obligation to proceed.

  • Will I look overfilled?
No. Conservative placement and appropriate product choice are key. My aim is always subtle, natural results.

    Are dermal fillers safe?
When performed by a trained medical practitioner with proper assessment and technique, dermal fillers are considered safe. Patient selection is essential.

How much filler will I need?
This varies and is discussed during your consultation. I will always recommend the minimum needed to achieve a good result.

What brand filler do you use? It depends on the area and concern to be treated, but I only use FDA approved fillers from brands which have excellent, long standing safety records including Merz, Teoxane, Allergan and Croma.

Is dermal filler painful? Most patients tolerate treatment well. A numbing cream may be applied, and most modern fillers contain local anaesthetic to improve comfort.

Is there downtime? You may experience:

    • Mild swelling

    • Bruising

    • Tenderness Swelling is most noticeable in the first 24–48 hours and then settles. You can usually return to normal activities quickly.

Can filler be dissolved? Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved if necessary using a specific enzyme. This is one of the reasons hyaluronic acid fillers are commonly used.

    Is the consultation really free?
Yes. There is no consultation fee and no pressure to proceed.
